We are seeking volunteers who have a one time slot of a few hours to a regular schedule up to 10 hours per week. If you would like more details, please call the office or use the contact form.

• Meeting set up and clean up

You will be following up with interested parties to get their information into our system and get them ready to trade.

No cold calling unless you want it.

Time requirement: Two to three hours minimum. Best if you can do a little work every day, following up on emails and responding.

Where? Can be virtual position after training, or you may work in our office.

Training will be two two hour blocks in our Soquel office.

After that, you can work from your home or office. This is mostly email with some phone work.



Time requirement: Open

Location: You determine where you want to work. We give you prospects in that area.

Specific tasks: This is cold calling, but for a good cause. You will be trained how to present this program to businesses.

This position can be done in a variety of ways:

• Calling on established businesses either by phone or in person

• Giving presentations to groups of people at home parties, and signing them up

Attending our community meetings is a great way to warm up  to this position. Please ask us how to get started.

We need someone to make a newsletter with updates for the exchange, new member notices, specials and news about local exchanges worldwide. We will give you most of the content, and you will put it together in a timely fashion. It will go out weekly or bi-weekly. This could be a project shared by several people.

Time requirement: Three to six hours per week

Location: Your home or office, or our office if you prefer

Time requirement: As needed per event, can work single event if desired.

Location: Our office in Soquel

• Pre-event:

• If capable, design materials for event
• Print and prepare all needed literature in our office in Soquel, or in your office
• Assemble necessary items for event so they are ready to be picked up

• Post-event:

• Put away all items from event
• Process new member interest in database
• Process silent auction proceeds and notify winners

Time requirement: As scheduled per event

Location: Around the county, but mostly Live Oak to downtown

Specific tasks:

• Pick up items needed from our Soquel office
• Set up booth or table at event
• Attend event and talk with people about New Earth Exchange
• Clean up and deliver supplies back to home office

This position could also include handing out literature downtown or at events without necessarily having a booth.

There are two options and two positions in each:

Preparing and cleaning up after quarterly meetings. The next is on June 25 at 6pm. You will need to arrive by 5:45 at the Live Oak Grange. We need two people to pick up items and set up the space and two people to be responsible for complete clean up and getting the items back to the Soquel office within a day or two.

Preparing and cleaning up after weekly or bi-weekly meetings in our Soquel office.

We are having more intimate gatherings for people to sign up and get their questions answered in a smaller setting. They will be on different weeknights and perhaps weekend days. Probably starting around 7pm, so set up would start at 6:30. Your tasks will be to arrange furniture and set up chairs, put out tea and coffee. Then another group of two could come in and put everything back in order at around 9pm.

We are using silent auctions to raise funds for New Earth, and would like to see our auctions be so fabulous that they bring more folks to our meetings. We need some enthusiastic volunteers to call on local businesses for donations of goods and services. This is a good way to network and meet business owners.

Food donations could be used for our potluck, which means a lot to guests who come to our meetings directly from work.

Time requirement is flexible.
